Who We Are
Crayon Eater’s Wife 1775 (CEW1775) is a nonprofit organization co-founded by Marine combat veteran Jimmy King and his wife, Beth. Born from Jimmy’s own recovery journey after losing a leg in an IED attack in 2004, CEW1775 is dedicated to “Healing through laughter” — using humor, the arts, camaraderie, and wind therapy to help veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families heal and reconnect.
